This 4WD adventure explores Wānaka’s best kept secret, the breathtaking Mātukituki Valley with spectacular views of Rob Roy Glacier.
Travel Mt Aspiring Road alongside Lake Wānaka offering spectacular views of iconic Mt Aspiring- Tititea (3033m). Entering the glacial carved Mātukituki Valley follow the gin-clear Mātukituki River set to the backdrop of towering snow-capped Mt Avalanche. Pass huge farms of Red Deer, Angus Cattle and roaming sheep providing spectacular photo opportunities. Learn about the forces of nature that continue to shape this jaw-dropping landscape. Enjoy a leisurely walk to Wishbone Falls (20mins return) before heading off-road onto Mt Aspiring Station to enjoy refreshments beneath the mighty Rob Roy Glacier. After refreshments an optional nature walk alongside the Mātukituki River awaits (30 mins) before returning to Wānaka.

Suitable for all fitness levels however being partly off-road our tracks can be bumpy so please advise us if you are pregnant or have any lower back issues.
